Face Cookies - Carrots & Strawberries

Really tiny strawberry and carrot cookies; they're about the size of a quarter. These are my favorites (and his).

Face Cookies - Pink Birds

Tiny pink birds!

Face Cookies - Penguins

Some stubbular penguins for a Face. Been wanting an excuse to use these cutters, too.

Face Cookies - Snowflakes

Chocolate; sugar-coated. I made sugar cookie snowflakes with isomalt centers as well to go with these (like last year's), but the pictures didn't come out. :(

Face Cookies - Butterflies

Been wanting to use this cutter!

Face Cookies - Football

For a certain Face, in particular. :D

Christmas 2011 Cookies

Some of the Christmas cookies I did last year. Both gingerbread. The center of the snowflakes is isomalt. Surly gingerbread men ftw.

Veg

Veggie (and egg) cookies, for my pescatarian cousin Victoria. :) These are some of my favorites.

Sudoku

Sudoku cookies, for Nancy.

Moar Birds

I mentioned that I like birds, right?

CNY Rabbits

Rabbits, for Chinese New Year. :)

Tiny Bluebirds

These were pretty tiny. I like frosting tiny cookies

(more under jump)

Mondrian

Mondrian cookies, for Kat. We've been to the MoMA a lot. :) Ever seen the Mondrian cake? Very cool.

Henna

Henna cookies for Niki! Experimenting with piping.

Pandas

Made these for Kat's art show. Someone asked me if I used real pandas in these cookies; my reply was no. Just panda extract.

Guitars

Guitar cookies for Russ. Finally, a reason to use my damn guitar cookie cutters.

(more under the break)

Hachikuro

Honey and clover sandwich cookies, kind of a cookie homage to the series...Honey and Clover. I looked into types of non-opaque frosting, hoping to actually make the honey look like honey, but couldn't find any options at the time that would dry hard and taste good. Maybe isomalt next time?

Da Bears

Bears! A gift for my cousin Victoria.

Frog Cookies

I discovered about a year ago that I really frigging loved decorating cookies, so please be prepared for some bakingspam.

These were the first cookies I ever tried to decorate properly with royal icing; they're kinda weird and the icing was a little too runny. But I was happy that after getting an electric mixer, my icing turned out matte for the first time.
